    Let me introduce myself, I am Edwin Muller (yes, that's my real name) and I joined this forum yesterday. I also applied for the DASV, hope to get a reply soon.

    I live in the Netherlands, have two kids and collect stamps since very young. I already entered exhibitions with several collections on the subjects "Local stamps from Ukraine", "The post of unoccupied Belgium in the Great War" and "the postal history of Prague". Right now I am working on an exhibit on the prephilatelic period of Prague. It's a challenge and I already visited the forum several times hunting for knowledge. But joining is more fun, so her I am.

    nice to meet you here. The postal history of Prague sounds very interesting for me, as I have a small collection Bavaria-Austria et vice versa and Prague was a very important city (and is still of course), so I am sure to learn from your knowledge about this.

    like BK already said, most welcome here. A Specialist for Prague, Belgium and Ukraine is for sure an addition to this Forum. Especially the Prague aspect is intriguing as there was lot of correspondence from Southern German states (Bavaria, Wuerttemberg, Baden) to there.

    I would gladly like to see some of the letters explaining the postal history of Prague.

    I have not been in the forum for a long time for personal reasons. I can't contribute much to the postal history of Prague from a pre-philately point of view, but I do have extensive material on waybills and accompanying postal addresses(= parcel cards) , which often include Prague as the place of despatch. I also specialise in Austrian postal stationery, especially private postal stationery, which often has to do with Prague.

    Furthermore, some time ago I started to put together a (so far still quite small) special collection of private postal stationery and used postcards for the 1908 Prague Jubilee Exhibition, but I keep failing due to a lack of suitable covers, in contrast to the 1898 Jubilee Exhibition in Vienna.

    Of course, I occasionally buy from Milan Cernik, who will also be offering interesting covers at the upcoming auction in March, but if there are any other auctioneers or stamp dealers in Prague, I would be very pleased to receive their addresses.

    I have been looking at the Prague exhibition myself, but more in the sense of the different exhibitions. The 1908 one has a great abundance of postcards, which makes it possible to get a good view on the different exhibits. For the older exhibitions the amount of different cards is much lower.

    I also found two original advertisements from that period. They are nice additions.

    Milan Cernik has great offers, and you can also find nice items on Ebay and Delcampe of course. Another auktion is Profil in Prague:
