Hello sumit,
It is a typical border postage letter from that time. On the side of the seal, the postage paid by the sender with 2 Kr. CM (this funny black dangling) is indicated for the transport from Milan to Chiasso. I cannot see the postage to be paid by the addressee, it was indicated in red chalk and is largely covered by the brown coloring. Please note: In 1841, Switzerland was not a unified postal area, each canton had its own postal sovereignty, which was partly transferred to other cantons on a contractual basis.
Best regards
Jurgen
15 c + 2 CM = ?
Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Sumit
